This memorial is at the foot of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. It was erected to the honor the life of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who was killed by insurrectionist rioters on January 6, 2021. He gave his life serving in the line of duty while defending our nation's Capitol from a terrorist mob.
Flags throughout the city were flown at half-mast in recognition of his bravery.
May his memory ever be for a blessing.
